Akinloye Akindayomi
Dr. Akinloye Akindayomi is an Assistant Professor of Accounting in the Department of Accounting and Finance at the Charlton College of Business, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. He obtained his Master of Science Degree in Accounting at the University of Lagos after successfully completing his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting with First Class Honors at the then Ondo State University Ado-Ekiti now University of Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State Nigeria. He then proceeded to University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada to pursue his doctoral degree in Accounting. He joined University of Massachusetts Dartmouth as an Assistant Professor after obtaining his Ph.D. degree. He has administered several scholarship and research grants over his career. Some of his publications have appeared and forthcoming in peer reviewed academic journals in the diverse areas of Accounting and Business as well as in professional journals. His area of teaching and research interests include Taxation, International Accounting, Executive Compensation, Corporate Governance, among others. He is a scholar who enjoys the things of the mind.
Dr. Akinloye Akindayomi is happily married and lives with his family in Rhode Island. He loves soccer and a member of the United States Soccer Federation.
